Fall we be upon us very shortly and I really think it is a wonderful time of year, especially when the weather starts to get a bit cooler. It is hard to believe that this image was almost 9 years ago. I can remember so much about that day, since I was due with my son in just a few weeks and I was thinking this was our last outing as three.

5 MONTHS

MY DAUGHTER AT 5 MONTHS. YES, I AM ON A BOO-WHO MY KIDS ARE GETTING TO OLD TRIP.

Alright, I'll stop boring you with my baby, I'll leave you with an image of one of my favorite times of days, sleep time.

On a Roll!

Yes, with work tapping me on the shoulder I have just decided to take a little break and enjoy doing some pages of my babies. I need to scan more of my daughter, because I have scrapped hers already that I had scanned, but scanning is just not fun, but when they were little digital was just so new! Amazing what less than 10years can do in a world of technology.

3 MONTHS- 9YEARS

I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT MY BABY IS GOING TO BE 9 YEARS OLD IN A LITTLE OVER 2 MONTHS. LOOK HOW CUTE HE IS AT THREE MONTHS. HE WAS A BOOGER, BUT JUST LIKE NOW YOU CAN NOT STAY MADE AT THOSE DIMPLES.

A LITTLE BABY FIX

THIS IS A LITTLE BIT OF MY OWN BABY FIX AND TO GIVE YOU SCRAPPERS SOMETHING NEW TO GLANCE AT. MY DAUGHTER AT 20 MONTHS AND MY SON AT 5 MONTHS.

UNEXPECTED VISITOR

WE HAD A RATHER LARGE UNEXPECTED VISITOR THIS EVENING. IT WAS IN OUR BIG FRONT OAK TREE AND THEN MADE A TRIP TO THE BACKYARD OAK TREE. I WAS REALLY FAR AWAY SO THE PHOTOS AREN'T THE BEST, BUT JUST THOUGHT I'D SHARE HOW COOL HE LOOKS.

I REALLY HOPE THIS GATOR QUILT WILL PUT A SMILE ON AN OLDER CHILD'S FACE!

THE TREEHOUSE

MY HUSBAND HAD BEEN TELLING THE KIDS THAT HE WOULD BUILD A TREEHOUSE AND AFTER TAKING DOWN THEIR PLAYSET, THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE ALL DID TODAY. ALTHOUGH MOST OF IT WAS DAD, I WAS JUST THE GOPHER, RUNNER, HOLDER. THE KIDS JUST LOVE IT AND EVEN DAD AND I ENJOYED SITTING UP IN IT AS WELL.

UCF KNIGHTS

A FUN AFTERNOON IN ORLANDO TODAY AND LUCKILY WE HAD NO RAIN UNTIL WE DROVE HOME THIS EVENING. OK, MY HUSBAND IS NOT A HUGE SPORTS FAN, BUT HE GRADUATED FROM UCF AND IS A HUGE UCF FOOTBALL FAN. WE ARE SEASON TICKET HOLDERS AND ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT OUR FIRST HOME GAME, IN THE NEW STADIUM AGAINST TEXAS ON THE 15TH OF SEPTEMBER. TODAY WAS A CHANCE TO MEET THE COACH, PLAYERS, CHEERLEADERS, DANCERS AND LET THE KIDS HAVE SOME FUN. COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT COOLER, BUT JUST GLAD WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY STORMS.

QUILTING IT UP!

OK, I AM NOT CRAZY, JUST USING MY NIGHTS THAT I AM NOT UP WORKING ON IMAGES TO STILL WORK ON SOMETHING. I AM NOT AN IDLE PERSON, I CAN NEVER JUST WATCH TELEVISION, IF I AM WATCHING, I AM ALMOST ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING AT THE SAME TIME. I JUST NEED TO FEEL PRODUCTIVE ALL THE TIME, SOMETIMES IT'S A GOOD THING AND SOMETIMES IT IS LIKE A CURSE BECAUSE I CAN'T GET MYSELF TO RELAX. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO RELAXING NEXT WEEKEND ON A CAMPING EXCURSION. BLAH, BLAH SORRY STARTED TO RAMBLE, JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE QUILT #3 FOR THE LINUS PROJECT.

QUILT NUMBER TWO IS FINISHED AND NUMBER THREE IS ON IT'S WAY SOON. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO ALREADY RESPONDED AND ARE BEING SO GENEROUS WITH GIVING YOUR MATERIAL, IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED AND I WILL DISPLAY EACH ONE AS I FINISH IT.

Project Linus

I have started doing a new volunteer project and since I have so many wonderful clients, I thought I would ask for some help if you can. I am going to be making at least two quilts a month for project Linus and just thought I might ask if any of you might have material left over from various projects you may have done that you would like to get rid of. They need the blankets for age 2-8 the most and many have already gone to Ocala area children, since I am working with the Alachua Chapter. If you have anything at all it would be greatly appreciated. I thought I would just share an image of my scrap area and some quilts.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

I KNOW THAT SOME STARTED LAST WEEK AND SOME PRESCHOOLERS/MOTHER'S MORNING OUT START NEXT WEEK, BUT FOR MANY TODAY WAS THE FIRST DAY OF A FRESH NEW YEAR. KIDS ARE NERVOUS, EXCITED AND ANXIOUS JUST AS THE PARENTS ARE FOR THEM, BUT ANOTHER FIRST DAY IS UNDER OUR BELTS. IT IS SCARY TO THINK THAT MINE ONLY HAVE 7 & 8 MORE FIRST DAYS TO COME AND EVEN IF THEY DON'T LIKE IT, I PLAN ON CAPTURING EVERY SINGLE ONE.

MY DAUGHTER TURNED 10 TODAY! WOW, TIME FLIES BY REALLY FAST AND IT IS WEIRD TO SAY THAT I HAVE A TEN YEAR OLD, THAT JUST SEEMS TO OLD.

These crazy mushrooms sprung up over night with all the rain we had in the past few days. Just loved the mushroom against the green grass.

HOLIDAY NEWSLETTER

I know,I know you really do not want to be thinking about the holidays already in July. Believe
me, it's hard thinking about them this early, but they will be upon us before we know it. So please
bear with me as this will be a long, long newsletter, but I am trying to inform you as much as possible.






Fall Quick Click Session

September 19, 20 & 21st

This is a simple fall session that is $89 and includes the following:

1. Quick click 30 minute or less session fee.

2. 10-12 proofs in your own private online gallery to view from your home.

3. 1-8x10
2-5x7's
2-4x5 or 4x6's
8-wallets(1 pose)
Each size can be a different image, excluding the wallets.

4. 15% off any additional images from this session, including fall cards or custom panels.

Sessions will be in half hour increments, starting at 8:30am and ending at 11am
on the 19th, 20th & 21st of September. On the 20th I will have late afternoon appointments
for working parents, 5:00,5:30,6:00 & 6:30. Please keep in mind this is a Quick Click Session, so
we can either do the whole session of just the siblings together, or just do a few of each child individually,
but not both with this session.

At the request of some clients, I will be offering some fun & simple Holidays sets this season. Some will be very
limited on specific days and others are booked upon request. As always, I will still be available to come
to your home or specific location, but book weekend family appointments early. I will be doing
Holiday sessions for cards from the end of September until November 21st. Sessions after that date
may not be done in time for the Holidays with the exception of newborns.





The Country Cottage home set is versatile in a having a holiday feel, or not. This set is available
starting now for Holiday portraits or maybe a special yearly portrait. Session times for this set with
light are best in the early morning from 8am-10am or right now in the evening at 6pm.






The Christmas Clubhouse set has large Christmas lights, a fun Holiday sign, a log swing and maybe a few
more holiday decorations before the sessions start. This set is done in color or sepia with handtinting
(as shown above). This set is available starting the end of September and is best in early morning
from 8am-10am and is age appropriate for 8 and under.






The Sandman Session, oh what fun! Yes, we get all the cards from our friends up north that have their
kids making their adorable snowmen and yes that is when we wish we did have a little snow. Well,
the kids can have fun with our Florida snow, our sand. You can choose from the more northern
sandman on the left or the more southern sandman on the right. Both with have additional things
in the set like shovels, buckets & shells. In addition the southern sandman will have a straw hat,
kids sunglasses and maybe even a grass skirt. So you can bundle your kids up, (ha,ha) or let them
dress in Florida winter. This set will only be available on November 14th, 15th & 16th.
Morning appointments are scheduled from 8am-10am and a few afternoon appointments
are available only on the 14th which is an early release day from school.

The next few images are just a few outside locations that we can use for you holiday portraits.
Please keep in mind that the Shady Park, I just found while out and about with my children,
so I don't have any "dressed" images, but I wanted it in the newsletter, because it really is a pretty spot.
