I AM KIND OF CRAZY, BUT I CHANGE MY DESKTOP PHOTO EVERY MONTH WITH A CALENDAR IMAGE. SO I THOUGHT I WOULD PASS THIS ONE ON TO YOU IN CASE YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE IT AS YOUR DESKTOP. YOU NEED TO CLICK ON THE CENTER OF THE IMAGE AND THEN WHEN IT OPENS BY ITSELF, YOU RIGHT CLICK ON IT AND CLICK ON SAVE AS AND SAVE IT TO YOUR DESKTOP. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CHANGE YOUR DESKTOP, HERE IS A QUICK LESSON. CLICK ON YOUR CONTROL PANEL, THEN CLICK ON DISPLAY. WHEN THE DISPLAY PROPERTIES BOX COMES UP, CLICK ON THE SECOND TAB OVER THAT SAYS DESKTOP. NOW CLICK ON THE BROWSE BUTTON TO THE RIGHT TO FIND THE IMAGE YOU SAVED AND IT SHOULD BE ON YOUR DESKTOP, WHEN IT LOADS THEN CLICK THE POSITION BOX UNDER THAT TO BE IN THE CENTER POSITION. NOW AT THE BOTTOM CLICK APPLY AND THEN OK. YOU SHOULD HAVE IT ON YOUR DESKTOP NOW.

New Item

By the end of the month I will have a few new items and special session to offer but thought I would share just one for now. The new "Mini Album" is now available for you to carry around with you or give as great, gift for Grandparents. In the album you get to pick your favorite 10 4x5 prints which will be mounted in the album. You can choose from Lime green, mellow yellow, pink, white or black for you cover color and one line to have the cover personalized with. The turn around time is quick for a personalized Album and should be less than 2 weeks. The cost is $65 and is a great value, normally if purchased separately it would be $115. Great idea for a Mother's Day gift for Grandma!

JUST AN UPDATE

I JUST WANTED TO PASS ALONG AN UPDATE. CALI, THE CHOCOLATE LAB WAS ADOPTED BY A FAMILY FRIDAY EVENING WITH THREE CHILDREN. WE WISH HER WELL IN HER NEW ADVENTURE. ALSO, ONE OF THE BABIES DIED LAST NIGHT DURING THE NIGHT, BUT SO FAR THE OTHER IS HOLDING IT'S OWN. WE TRIED AGAIN TO PUT IT OUT BY THE TREE, BUT NO SIGNS OF MOMMA!

SUCH A SOFTIE!

Ok, I know many of you will be laughing at how crazy you think I am, but I can not help it, I'm a softie. When my husband was trimming trees late today, these fell out of a nest that we thought was empty after poking it. The mom did not come back and then it was storming so we are going to feed and keep them tonight and see if she will come back tomorrow. So I went in the storm to the pet store to purchase puppy formula and have feed them with a syringe. I know that it is a good possibility that they will not be alive when I wake up tomorrow, but we are just doing what we can to keep them alive. My kids understand that sometimes nature is cruel, but that is how the population is controlled, not everyone makes it. But if you do what you can and give it your best effort that is all you can do. I know I am crazy they are squirrels, but so ugly that they are cute. After looking up information on the Internet, that are about 7-10days old. For some reason, as my friends know, my house tends to be the destination for lost or abandoned birds, critters etc.

INSOMNIA

I have many people that ask me when I have time to do my many hobbies I have. Well, tonight for instance I worked on this quilt from about 9:30pm. until 1am. I am just a night owl and a person that has to always stay busy. Sometimes it is a blessing and sometimes it can also be a curse as well. I swear sometimes I do have insomnia, because it is hard for me to fall asleep at night.Though most days I run on about 6 hours of sleep and should be ready to just crash, I can not seem to just fall asleep. So my new habit, which seems to be helping is to read for at least a 1/2 hour before bed, to just unwind my head. I think it is time for me to head in that direction.....night, night!

BABY BOOM!

OCALA REALLY SEEMS TO BE BOOMING LATELY WITH LOTS OF NEW LITTLE ONES ARRIVING DAILY. IT IS SUCH A TREAT BEING PART OF ALL THE NEW BEGINNINGS AND I LOOK FORWARD TO CAPTURING THEM GROWING UP.

GLOOMY!

I don't know about any of you, but I get kind of gloomy when we have the overcast skies, or when it is raining. I didn't really have any good mojo going today, so better not to work, when you are not up to creative par. Instead I did something relaxing, I made this quilt. Who wouldn't have their day brightened up, by this fabulous "Celebrate Spring" material. You can not help but smile when you see all the beautiful, bright colors.

Time Machine

So, if somebody would let me know when Best Buy comes out with a time Machine, and I will take a short trip back with my camera and my daughter for images like these.

Wow, another year has come and gone! I always look forward to a New Year, a fresh start, time to commit to getting things done. Keep on the lookout in the next few weeks for an email with some special sessions for 2008.

Never Caught Up!

Vacation is almost over, boo! I had so many things I my list to do before the end of the year, some finished, some not. But trying to work backwards on 2007 images and November is T's B-day. There is always a list next year to add the unfinished to.

Weird Things

Alright, sometimes I scrap weird things, but I guess I am hoping that years from now, when one of my kids asks me a question, their scrapbook pages will have most of the answers. What age did my molars start falling out mom?

The Season

Well, the season is coming to a close, one more night to celebrate with family and friends. It seems we all prepare so long for all the holiday festivities and they all end so very quickly. I don't know about you, but it seems like the kids should not be going back to school already next week, one more week please!!!!! We had a wonderful Holiday with family at our house Christmas Eve as well as part of Christmas day.
Thought I would share a few images of my day with more to follow when I get some scrapbook pages completed. After we opened gifts, my husband and I had one more gift to bring out from the bedroom and I am so glad my dad captured my children's faces as we wheeled them out. Their expressions, just priceless and the screaming on the video with be wonderful to listen to for years to come.

The kids had a great time helping one another put
together the gingerbread house and gingerbread tree. They mixed up their icing, helped each other holding pieces, while the other iced and had fun
decorating them with the candy. I was able to just enjoy watching my two little elves in their Santa hats, being Baking Buddies.

GREAT FRIENDS

MY ANNUAL ORNAMENT PARTY WAS THIS EVENING AND I KNOW MY FRIENDS WERE HAPPY THAT I DID NOT TORTURE THEM INTO MAKING ORNAMENTS THIS YEAR, WE JUST BOUGHT AND EXCHANGED. LET ME TELL YOU, THERE WAS SOME STEALING GOING ON DURING THE GAMES THIS EVENING AND THAT ALWAYS MAKES FOR A GOOD TIME. I REALLY DO FEEL LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH WONDERFUL FRIENDS. THEY ARE THE KIND OF FRIENDS, THAT EVEN IF YOU DO NOT SEE EACH OTHER ALL THE TIME, OR EVEN TALK ALL THE TIME YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE THERE FOR EACH OTHER.A FEW FRIENDS BROUGHT SOME EXTRA GOODIES JUST FOR ME AND I REALLY THINK "A'S" GIFT SUMS UP HOW I FEEL. FRIENDS*FOREVER*FOR ALWAYS*NO MATTER WHAT!

HUSTLE/BUSTLE

IN THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF THE HOLIDAY SEASON, PLEASE TRY AND MAKE SOME QUIET TIME FOR YOURSELF. EVEN IS YOU JUST HAVE THE MUSIC ON SOFTLY, THE KIDS ARE ALL ASLEEP AND YES YOU ARE WRAPPING YOUR 25TH PRESENT, BUT IT IS SOME QUIET TIME.
