MY JOURNALING ON THE PAGE IS AS FOLLOWS:

I am really embarrassed to say that we just started to “REALLY” recycle. My kids were pestering me about doing it and asking why we were not. I could only come up with the answer that we were all being Lazy. No, they don’t pick it up like they used to in Orlando ,but that is no excuse. So it is about time we recycle.

I will not always put them on here, but I have made a challenge to myself. I don't care how busy I am, my challenge is to complete one scrap page a day until the end of the year. Either current or from the old scanned images that I am working on. Believe it or not, I find it relaxing to scrap, because it gets my creative energy flowing while emptying my emotions from the day. Yes, I guess I do tend to be a tad emotional.

NAKED BABY!

My sister-in-law took this great image of my nephew playing in the rain and I just had to scrap it. It is just amazing how the little things can mean the world of fun to children, sometimes I think we should all just stop and play in the rain.

Fall we be upon us very shortly and I really think it is a wonderful time of year, especially when the weather starts to get a bit cooler. It is hard to believe that this image was almost 9 years ago. I can remember so much about that day, since I was due with my son in just a few weeks and I was thinking this was our last outing as three.

5 MONTHS

MY DAUGHTER AT 5 MONTHS. YES, I AM ON A BOO-WHO MY KIDS ARE GETTING TO OLD TRIP.

On a Roll!

Yes, with work tapping me on the shoulder I have just decided to take a little break and enjoy doing some pages of my babies. I need to scan more of my daughter, because I have scrapped hers already that I had scanned, but scanning is just not fun, but when they were little digital was just so new! Amazing what less than 10years can do in a world of technology.

3 MONTHS- 9YEARS

I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT MY BABY IS GOING TO BE 9 YEARS OLD IN A LITTLE OVER 2 MONTHS. LOOK HOW CUTE HE IS AT THREE MONTHS. HE WAS A BOOGER, BUT JUST LIKE NOW YOU CAN NOT STAY MADE AT THOSE DIMPLES.

A LITTLE BABY FIX

THIS IS A LITTLE BIT OF MY OWN BABY FIX AND TO GIVE YOU SCRAPPERS SOMETHING NEW TO GLANCE AT. MY DAUGHTER AT 20 MONTHS AND MY SON AT 5 MONTHS.

UNEXPECTED VISITOR

WE HAD A RATHER LARGE UNEXPECTED VISITOR THIS EVENING. IT WAS IN OUR BIG FRONT OAK TREE AND THEN MADE A TRIP TO THE BACKYARD OAK TREE. I WAS REALLY FAR AWAY SO THE PHOTOS AREN'T THE BEST, BUT JUST THOUGHT I'D SHARE HOW COOL HE LOOKS.

QUILT #4

I REALLY HOPE THIS GATOR QUILT WILL PUT A SMILE ON AN OLDER CHILD'S FACE!

THE TREEHOUSE

MY HUSBAND HAD BEEN TELLING THE KIDS THAT HE WOULD BUILD A TREEHOUSE AND AFTER TAKING DOWN THEIR PLAYSET, THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE ALL DID TODAY. ALTHOUGH MOST OF IT WAS DAD, I WAS JUST THE GOPHER, RUNNER, HOLDER. THE KIDS JUST LOVE IT AND EVEN DAD AND I ENJOYED SITTING UP IN IT AS WELL.

UCF KNIGHTS

A FUN AFTERNOON IN ORLANDO TODAY AND LUCKILY WE HAD NO RAIN UNTIL WE DROVE HOME THIS EVENING. OK, MY HUSBAND IS NOT A HUGE SPORTS FAN, BUT HE GRADUATED FROM UCF AND IS A HUGE UCF FOOTBALL FAN. WE ARE SEASON TICKET HOLDERS AND ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT OUR FIRST HOME GAME, IN THE NEW STADIUM AGAINST TEXAS ON THE 15TH OF SEPTEMBER. TODAY WAS A CHANCE TO MEET THE COACH, PLAYERS, CHEERLEADERS, DANCERS AND LET THE KIDS HAVE SOME FUN. COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT COOLER, BUT JUST GLAD WE DIDN'T HAVE ANY STORMS.

QUILTING IT UP!

OK, I AM NOT CRAZY, JUST USING MY NIGHTS THAT I AM NOT UP WORKING ON IMAGES TO STILL WORK ON SOMETHING. I AM NOT AN IDLE PERSON, I CAN NEVER JUST WATCH TELEVISION, IF I AM WATCHING, I AM ALMOST ALWAYS DOING SOMETHING AT THE SAME TIME. I JUST NEED TO FEEL PRODUCTIVE ALL THE TIME, SOMETIMES IT'S A GOOD THING AND SOMETIMES IT IS LIKE A CURSE BECAUSE I CAN'T GET MYSELF TO RELAX. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO RELAXING NEXT WEEKEND ON A CAMPING EXCURSION. BLAH, BLAH SORRY STARTED TO RAMBLE, JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE QUILT #3 FOR THE LINUS PROJECT.

QUILT NUMBER TWO IS FINISHED AND NUMBER THREE IS ON IT'S WAY SOON. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO ALREADY RESPONDED AND ARE BEING SO GENEROUS WITH GIVING YOUR MATERIAL, IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED AND I WILL DISPLAY EACH ONE AS I FINISH IT.

Project Linus

I have started doing a new volunteer project and since I have so many wonderful clients, I thought I would ask for some help if you can. I am going to be making at least two quilts a month for project Linus and just thought I might ask if any of you might have material left over from various projects you may have done that you would like to get rid of. They need the blankets for age 2-8 the most and many have already gone to Ocala area children, since I am working with the Alachua Chapter. If you have anything at all it would be greatly appreciated. I thought I would just share an image of my scrap area and some quilts.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

I KNOW THAT SOME STARTED LAST WEEK AND SOME PRESCHOOLERS/MOTHER'S MORNING OUT START NEXT WEEK, BUT FOR MANY TODAY WAS THE FIRST DAY OF A FRESH NEW YEAR. KIDS ARE NERVOUS, EXCITED AND ANXIOUS JUST AS THE PARENTS ARE FOR THEM, BUT ANOTHER FIRST DAY IS UNDER OUR BELTS. IT IS SCARY TO THINK THAT MINE ONLY HAVE 7 & 8 MORE FIRST DAYS TO COME AND EVEN IF THEY DON'T LIKE IT, I PLAN ON CAPTURING EVERY SINGLE ONE.
