FUN FRIDAY

I have known this family for years and we had fun at the park on Friday. Three kids and they really were awesome and very cooperative, thanks again guys!!!

RAINY AFTERNOON!

WHAT TO DO WITH THE KIDS ON A RAINY SUMMER AFTERNOON WHILE TRYING TO WORK. WELL, SINCE I DON'T HAVE TODDLERS, PAINTING WAS THE ANSWER. WE ARE IN NEED OF A FEW MORE THINGS FOR THE WALLS OF THE REDECORATED ROOMS. SO WITH A BIT OF PAINT, A FEW BRUSHES AND 2 BLANK 16X20 CANVASES THESE ARE THE MASTERPIECES THEY CREATED WHILE MOM WORKED!

This little tomatoes from my garden have no idea, but very soon they will be turned into, yummy,fresh salsa!

Cool Redo!

So I told my daughter that she could update her room, from the stenciled flowers, dragonflies and bugs, sometime during the Summer. Well that was a few months ago and needless to say it has been Summer. So we painted the walls, bought some teen type art stuff, memory boards etc. Then the furniture, nice real wood furniture, but very old-fashioned. I was going to paint it all, but decided since she has so many pieces it may be to much. So mod-podge is was going to be! With a roll of $3.00 Hallmark wrapping paper, mod-podge and inexpensive knobs from Lowe's her old furniture has a new, fun update. I have only done the desk so far, but you can see the before on the dresser and the after on the desk. Oh and her chair was my Grandmother's and I used a $3.57 can of pink spray paint, what a difference!

BEWARE..........NAKED IMAGE

In trying to work on hundreds of beach images, this one just makes me smile. I know that mom will not mind me sharing this image. At the end of a large family session, mom wanted a few naked images of her youngest...... and boy did we get some. Out of all of them, this one is just perfect, could the bird have flown in any better????

BUCKING BRONCO

Bucking Bronco is sometimes what you get at 3, but not in this case. This little cowboy was very cooperative, as was mom. I find with certain kids, even little ones, that they do better without mom around. So this is a special, quick,sneak peak for mom being so cooperative.

BACK FROM THE BEACH

Back from the beach and trying to get back in the swing of things. I am patiently and quickly trying to return all calls, emails and work on beach sessions. Just a few images from my family time at the beach. Don't worry all critters were looked at and returned to their home of the ocean.

Another Year!

Wow, another year really has passed by again that fast. I will be at the Beach working and playing so I will be out of the office starting tomorrow June 27th and be back July 7th. Thought I would post a beach image of my kids that I put in this year's yearbook since it is a year old now.Please feel free to leave voicemails and emails and I will get back with you when I return. EXPECTING SHYNESS AS I WAS TOLD, THIS BABY WAS ANYTHING BUT! YES MAYBE IT TOOK HER 8 MINTUES TO WARM UP INSTEAD OF 5, BUT SHE WAS ALL SMILES AND PERSONALITY. THANKS LITTLE "J"!

PARTY OF FIVE

This party of five traveled several hours to come and have a family session. It was like a party, because we were moving fast as the thunder was roaring in the distance. We were finishing up as the rain started to fall, so glad it held out for us. Just a few of this beautiful family to hold mom over until they are finished.

4 WEEKS

4 weeks, alert and bored of me already! Ha, Ha! He really was a very good baby!

What you can accomplish from 10pm-2am!

Ahhh, the quiet and stillness of my house from 10pm-2am last night allowed me to finish this quilt. I started it before I took my class, but thought I would use some of what I had learned. Well, trying to quilt a 6foot x 6foot quilt is a bit harder than a lap quilt. So I opted to do a quilted border again added some buttons, put on the binding and called it a night. The pattern is called Spiral Strips and it is in the book called Jelly Roll Quilts. I changed it a bit by adding two different sized borders instead of one and the added touch of the buttons. I used the jelly roll called Blossom by Urban Chicks and only had a few bits and pieces left out of the entire jelly roll. I would have photographed it last night, but had to wait until my invisible helpers were awake to hold it up for me to take a few quick images. Have a great Day!
